Dr. Atousa Ghaneian is a board certified General Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Ghaneian obtained her bachelors degree in psychobiology from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and then entered St. George’s Medical School. She went on to complete her General Pediatrics Residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Originally from California, she then moved to Las Vegas to be closer to her family and loved ones.
Dr. Ghaneian has experience and knowledge in a variety of fields within General Pediatrics. She has a passion for teaching, serves as a Clinical Adjunct Professor for the University of Nevada School of Medicine, and is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics for Touro University’s Medical School. Dr. Ghaneian’s clinical skills and expertise have also earned her roles at both the Sunrise Children’s Hospital Pediatric ER and the Summerlin Hospital Pediatric ER. There, she supervises resident doctors-in-training and works closely with multiple sub-specialists in the care of sudden and, many times, life-threatening illnesses.
Dr. Ghaneian has been intimately involved in the Las Vegas community since she moved here in 2011. She aims to help families facilitate the growth and development of their children and empowers them with the tools necessary to provide the best care possible. She takes a special interest in complex medical cases and in children with special medical needs, and derives immense fulfillment by fostering and nurturing their development.
She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, family and close friends. She loves the outdoors and nature and likes cooking in the kitchen when possible.
Dr. Ghaneian invites families in Las Vegas, and the surrounding areas, to visit her practice so that they can begin working together to optimize the growth and development of their children.
