At Healthy Kids Pediatrics for our youngest patients, you will find playtime elements designed to stimulate interest and creative play while our older children and teens can look forward to enjoying our unique and relaxing exam rooms.
We believe in nurturing your child every step of the way. Family education is at the core of our preventive medicine practices. Empowering our families with the knowledge and tools necessary to promote the emotional and physical health of their child is very important to us. An integral part of our preventive practice is the use of childhood vaccinations. We welcome the opportunity to work with you in making the decision to proceed with this important intervention.
We pride ourselves on the delivery of customer service that’s second to none. Our extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and caring clinical team is passionate about quality care. We sincerely believe in the value of long-term relationships and we look forward to having your family join ours.
These visits are very focused and are intended to help your child regain their normal state of health; whether it be the common cold, a rash, weight management concerns, need for referrals, or other issues that arise in between routine well-child care. Immunizations /childhood shots are typically not administered at sick visits, unless the physician deems it relevant in the care of your child's presenting condition.
At our well-child visits, we spend time reviewing the status of your child's general well-being to promote continued health and proper development. We invite questions about your child's growth, development, and vaccine status at the time of these visits. We administer all routine vaccinations at your child's check-up.
We do understand that your child may become ill at the time of an intended well-child visit. If this occurs, please call and inform our staff as soon as possible so that we can change the visit type to ensure that we are properly prepared to meet your needs.
